So one of my favorite things that I’ve learned about recently (as in last year) despite it having been going on for forever, is Art Fight! I love the concept of an art gift contest, so naturally I had to participate, but I also have a lot on my plate right now so participating as much as I’d like just isn’t in the cards. Here are my two entries for this past Art Fight! I was on Team Mystery, and it was really fun to have three teams this year.

This cute little penguin is named Pillion. She belongs to TANAUVI. I had a lot of fun pulling out my watercolors and gouache to paint her! I figured she’s probably most at home in the water, so I wanted to have her look very relaxed here as she finds her prey!
This is Mishka! Mishka belongs to 72femurs! It was really an interesting challenge to draw them, and I wanted to practice my vector skills so most of this portrait is vector layers with effects added. I have a soft spot for mages and wizards (and of course warlocks) so I wanted to give Mishka a proper try! This one is all digital, and was created in Krita.
